Why subscribe?

Welcome to Limns, a monthly curation of thought. The project has a singular goal: to reinvest wonder and curiosity in all the things we don’t think twice about.

Here’s how it works. Every month, I select a single word or concept and use it’s etymological roots as a launch pad to tease apart cultural values and raise what I hope are curiosity-inducing questions. Any word is open for exploration, from “longing” to “fit” to “cups.”

These digestible, philosophical ruminations can be enjoyed with a ritualistic Sunday cup of coffee, on the train, or in heated debate with a friend. Please note: Limns won’t give you answers. In fact, it’s more likely to unsettle your working definitions of things than to provide you with a singular truth. Consume responsibly, share generously, and think deeply.

Subscribers are also welcome to help steer the ship. Email your concept suggestions to limnsnewsletter@gmail.com. Every month a member’s suggestion is picked at random.

Oh, and did we mention? Year-long subscribers will receive our zine colletino of photography and year one posts, free of charge. Think of it is as ours thanks for being a part of the Limns community.
